Founded by three Novarese brothers, NOVA work for the first two years as contractor.
NOVA become a reality, a newborn to become one of the world's leading manufacturer of CNC grinding.

NOVA deliver their first internal grinding machine.
1946
NOVA become member of the UCIMU Association, (Association of Italian Machine Tool Manufacturers).
1948
NOVA deliver its first grinding machine in Europe.
1954
NOVA manufacture its first internal grinding machine for bearing rings.
1967
NOVA acquire the licence by the American company Van Norman to manufacture external grinding systems for the European market.
1980
NOVA are the first in Europe to design and manufacture an internal grinding machine equipped with their own NOVA CNC.
1988

NOVA start using CAD-CAM systems for machine design.

1993
NOVA incorporate their competitor FAMIR INTERNATIONAL, Turin, gaining a competitive advantage on the market and adding value to the company.
1994
NOVA establish Meccanica Nova Corporation in the USA, to extend their business in the NAFTA markets.
1994
Meccanica Nova receive the award of "Supplier of the Year"  by the Schaeffler Group.
1999
For the second time Meccanica Nova receive the award for "Supplier of the Year" by the Schaeffler Group.
2000
NOVA design and supply the 5th generation of NOVA CNC's, now with digital drives.
2001
NOVA become ISO 9001 certified.
2004
Meccanica Nova Corporation celebrate 10 years since their birth by delivering the 100th grinding  machine in the North American Market.
2005
NOVA design and manufacture their first grinding machine for lead screws of the electric power steering.
2008
NOVA inaugurate their photovoltaic system: an important step towards environmental care.
2010
NOVA reinforce their worldwide presence by expanding coverage in North and South America and Asia.
2014
NOVA celebrate the 75th anniversary if the manufacture of their first internal grinding machine.
