IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON COVID-19 FROM MECCANICA NOVA
The current situation with COVID-19 continues to expand to that point that it is now impacting all of our daily lives.
Meccanica Nova is taking the current situation very seriously and we are committed to observing the situation on a daily basis. The health of our customers, partner companies, employees and their families, has always been our top priority.
Recent National Regulations are enforcing temporary limitations to manufacturing facilities nationwide, which also affect us: in light of the above, Meccanica Nova has temporarily suspended production and manufacturing operations until May 3, 2020, in accordance with the Italian Government Decree of April 10.
Shipments to and from our manufacturing plant are therefore temporarily suspended, and although this may impact current open orders, we will do our outmost to limit such inconveniences; We had proactively expedited manufacturing of all current open orders prior to March 22, so that immediately after National Regulations on manufacturing limitations are lifted, we will be able to promptly and positively react to the situation.
We have been taking all of the proper precautions and many of our employees are currently able to work from home offices and are fully able to conduct essential business remotely, including video conferences, telephone and Email, Orders processing, RFQs, engineering studies, and essential service; wherever possible, our grinding systems can also be reached and serviced via remote internet access, should there be an urgent need.
